The plain-English agreement between you and Unfolly when you install the extension, visit unfolly.digital, or upgrade to Pro.
By installing the Unfolly Chrome extension, visiting unfolly.digital, or purchasing a Pro subscription, you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use Unfolly.
Unfolly ("the Service") is a Chrome browser extension distributed via the Chrome Web Store and an associated website at unfolly.digital. It analyzes your own Instagram follower graph locally in your browser to surface unfollowers, ghost followers, and accounts that don't follow you back. The Service is operated by Unfolly Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Companies House no. 14829361), registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "Unfolly").
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA / UK, or the legal age of digital consent in your country) to use Unfolly. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the right to enter into this agreement.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Unfolly extension on your own devices for non-commercial purposes. The Service is licensed, not sold. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, its source code, branding, and content.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate your license without notice if you violate these restrictions.
Free use of Unfolly does not require an account. When you purchase Pro, LemonSqueezy issues a license key tied to your email. You are responsible for keeping that license key confidential. Sharing or publicly posting your license key may result in revocation without refund.
Pro is offered on a monthly or yearly subscription basis. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as merchant of record and handles all billing, taxes, invoicing, and dispute resolution. The merchant on your bank statement will be LemonSqueezy, not Unfolly.
Unfolly offers a bug-based refund: if the extension's advertised features do not work for you and we cannot resolve the issue, we will refund your most recent payment. Mandatory consumer rights under your local law (including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal) are preserved and explained in our Refund Policy.
The Service relies on third parties to function:
Each third party has its own terms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or misconduct by these providers.
Unfolly is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Instagram, LLC. Use of the Service is at your sole discretion and risk.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always compatible with Instagram. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Unfolly and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights).
You agree to indemnify and hold Unfolly harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, including Instagram's Terms of Use.
You may stop using Unfolly at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or if continued operation becomes legally or technically unfeasible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (license restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the extension or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of London, England, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to bring action in your home jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
